Job Summary

Lead day to day operations within the vehicle parts department, organizes and helps delegate daily workload. Provides training and guidance to staff, performs all tasks for which work group is responsible. Responsibilities include: parts ordering, returns, inventory control management and compliance. Lead staff with proper department account usage for billing, submission of purchase orders and requisitions. Adheres to and enforces policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Job Specifications :

  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.

  • Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory counts.

  • Oversee proper vehicle work order inputting, including parts and labor, into maintenance tracking software.

  • Submission and tracking of all warranty parts, ensuring full use of warranty claims including parts returns and credits.

  • Learn frequency of parts usage and house stock of frequently used items.

  • Effectively communicate parts order status and availability with shop personal, manager, and inter-departmental staff.

  • Assist in the tracking of fleet vehicles for cost analysis, longevity and fleet rotation.

  • Create and establish a strong working relationship with co-workers, procurement and all vendors for the vehicle shop.

  • Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High school, Some College and or Degree

  • Previous accounting, inventory management or procurement experience preferred

  • 1 year of Lead or Supervisory Experience

  • Colorado Driver’s License

  • Proficient computer skills, Excel, Word, People soft(ERP), AS/400 and or Maintenance/Procurement Tracking Systems

  • Oral and Written English Proficiency

  • Organizational Skills

  • 3-4 Years Parts and or inventory clerk experience - Preferred

The expected pay range is $22.00 - $26.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
