Job Summary:

This is a supervisory position for the housekeeping function, with direct reports. Ensures the efficient, high quality operation of the housekeeping team during assigned schedule. Responsible for hiring/staffing, scheduling, and performance management/evaluations. Also fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed, and is thoroughly familiar with all areas of housekeeping operations. Provides an experience of a lifetime for employees, which includes creating a safe, inclusive, vibrant and affordable housing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Required to travel between properties located in Beaver Creek (2 properties) and Vail (5 properties) to ensure housekeeping work is being completed on time and to standards.

  • Beginning of each day set the tone; communicate expectations and delegate tasks and staff to achieve workload results.

  • Responsible for overseeing and supervising day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure prioritization and work order completion.

  • Enforces policies and procedures of the department and company.

  • Orders and organizes cleaning supplies, and tracks inventory needs.

  • Trains employees on safety, unit directions/specifications, ergonomics, and policies to ensure compliance with Company standards.

  • In charge of room inspections and public areas to ensure compliance and sanitary requirements met.

  • Assists with Talent Management supporting coaching and employee accountability.

  • Reports any and all maintenance issues and damages.

  • Helps keep track of labor costs and helps schedule appropriately.

  • Works with Housing Manager to call in contract labor when need.

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience

  • Valid Colorado driver’s license

  • Proficient skills with Outlook, Excel and internet use required

  • Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to communicate in Spanish.

  • Great communication and organizational skills

  • Able to work in all environments (indoor/outdoor) and weather conditions.

  • Lift up to 50lbs

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
