Key Responsibilities (Top 6)

  • Responsible for onboarding, negotiating, and contracting of transportation services.
  • Directly oversee the development and maintenance of a TMS that will encompass Marianis Global Supply Chain.
  • Ensure connectivity of Transportation Sops / Training / and consistent work practices amongst all Mariani facilities.
  • Responsible for Transportation Budget Management and Deployment of Continuous Improvement Cost / Service Strategies
  • Directly responsible for providing Hands-On Management Support of the Transportation Analyst role
  • Directly problem-solve complex Transportation / Customer delivery situations promptly and professionally.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree preferred (and / or equivalent amount of experience and educational training)

5 years experience facilitating Transportation activities with Freight Brokers, IMCCs/ LTL/ OTR / RAIL / DREY / OCEAN / PARCEL Carriers

Proficient in developing and maintaining ERP / TMS system

Experience in creating Transportation KPI metrics to analyze cost and service levels for our service partners

Exposure to Customer (OTIF) Compliance Programs
