We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Uxbridge. The ideal candidate will have a background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and specialized equipment. From routine maintenance to complex engine repairs, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our clients' fleets on the road. salary: $52,000 - $83,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • The ability to perform detailed inspections and provide written assessment of repair needs. The ability to perform preventative maintenance service is a must.

  • Must demonstrate efficient, accurate, high quality workmanship in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with company specifications and in accordance with DOT, OSHA and other industry standards.

  • Provide diagnostic assessment of repair needs based on experience.

  • Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.

  • Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.

  • Proficiency in the installation, replacement and service of heavy truck and trailer suspensions and brake systems including ABS systems preferred

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment
