What does a Senior Respite Specialist do?

Senior Respite Specialists provide care for individuals with a broad range of disabilities, through supervision, personal care, and recreational activities! People we support love going on outings in the community, going to the movies or dinner, doing arts and crafts, and celebrating the holidays and birthdays! Senior Respite Specialists ensure the safety of the people we support by learning their care plans, while maintaining their independence, dignity, and autonomy.

Pay Rate

  • The starting salary is $16.50/hour, with a $500 sign on bonus!!

    Schedule/Hours

  • Work 3 days, then have 4 days off! Scheduling options:

  • Monday - Wednesday

  • Wednesday - Friday

  • Thursday - Saturday

    Qualifications

  • Experience working with people with disabilities

  • Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation

  • High school diploma or higher
