Job Description

AsSenior Quality Manager, you will have the overall responsibility and accountability for the total quality performance of the plant. As a strong leader, you will communicate clear direction in the field of quality, environment, health, and safety.

AsSenior Quality Manager, you will manage a group of engineers and technicians responsible for supplier quality, line and product launch quality, operations quality, IMS, and customer quality. And most importantly, you will lead a zero-defect mindset and capability of the plant.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.

  • You will drive the competence development of the QEHS team members and other operational team members in the plant.

  • You are responsible that the plant team understands and respects the QEHS requirements, goals, policy, and quality methodology and you will share best practices and lessons learned with the rest of the automotive division.

  • You will develop and drive a plant QEHS plan with transparent focus initiatives "must win" and impact.

  • You are accountable for implementation and compliance of the Semikron Danfoss IMS across plant processes.

  • You are responsible for data review and reporting.

Background & Skills

Required (Basic) Qualifications

For this position, you have a bachelor’s degree in the engineering field and many years of professional experience in leadership, decision-making, and data analysis.

Permentant authorization to work in the U.S.A

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a full-scope IATF 16949 business environment is mandatory.

  • Strong leading person with communication and effectiveness skills.

  • Stakeholder management and relationship building as well as problem solving and root cause analysis.

  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus.

  • Advanced degrees (or specific degrees if not required above), additional preferred work experiences (supervision/leadership, manufacturing environment, multinational company)

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $137,500/year. Base salary is to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
