The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter Licensed Practical Nurse - Day Services in Utica, New York

The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its Day Services Department! Ensure the supervision and provision of nursing services to the people we support at the program sites. Responsible for implementing medical policies and procedures with the assigned site in accordance with Arc and Office For People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations.

Oneida & Lewis County

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program RN in the management of illnesses and accidents.

  • Assist Program RN in the provision of nursing services.

  • Assist Program RN in medical record-keeping, nursing assessments, monthly summaries, and nurse's notes.

  • Administer medication as assigned.

  • Assist in monitoring program participants' nutritional status.

Qualifications:

  • New York State Licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • Specialized training or one year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred

  • Valid NYS Drivers' License
