Chris Preble is working with a Utica client he has partnered with a lot over the years. This organization has a newly created Billing Specialist hiring need.

The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical and analytical skills, along with a keen eye for accuracy. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining billing records, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing: Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently using billing software or accounting systems.

Billing Verification: Review invoices for accuracy, ensuring that all charges are correctly calculated and properly documented.

Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment-related issues in a professional and timely manner.

Accounts Receivable: Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure prompt resolution.

Data Entry: Enter billing and payment information into the system with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized billing records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

Reporting: Generate regular reports on billing activities, revenue trends, and outstanding balances for management review.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the billing cycle.
