A Typical Day for a Spiritual Care Counselor with WesleyLife Hospice:

  • Travels to senior communities and homes to provide support to our hospice clients and their families

  • Performs client assessments

  • Participates in interdisciplinary group meetings to discuss patient goals and care plans with other care providers on the team

  • Current Openings: PRN (as needed) Less than 20 hours per week.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $22.28 - $28.07 / hour. The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

  • Mileage Reimbursement at 58.5 cents per mile

Required

  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license, reliable transportation, current vehicle insurance, and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, providers, family members and team members

  • Experience in hospice and working with families and individuals throughout the death and dying process

  • Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (bachelor's, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree
