Ken Garff Automotive Group IT Specialist - Stew Hansen Dodge City in Urbandale, Iowa

Stew Hansen Dodge City , a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is currently looking for a talented IT Specialist that aligns with our core values and acts with respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty and teamwork.

Schedule will be Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Pay is starting at $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for an increase

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide user support on day to day I T issues in assigned geographical area.

  • Serve as site support technician issues in assigned geographical area.

  • Provide technical assistance to computer system users.

  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location.

  • Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S., have a valid driver license and professional appearance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Some college preferred. 1 year experience in IT service and technology.

COMPUTER SKILLS:Inventory Control Software, internet, Microsoft Office Products

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment with dealership visits.
