As our expert within Work Environment Management and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), you take pride in your work and drive the cultural development regarding work environment, health and safety. Your proactive and strategic work will lead the Nordics Office locations (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland) to become the best workplaces, with healthy employees, zero incidents and accidents.

Since this role is within our business unit (including field sales) much focus will be on making sure we meet the relevant standards and regulations, according to local legislation, within organizational and social work environment.

In addition, you will also be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all internal MondelezHSE standards, programs, processes and internal HSE initiatives.

How you will contribute

  • Provide work environment and HSE expertise for the four locations, for all new projects/initiatives and change management activities.

  • Practively contribute to HSE programs/initiatives (local/MEU programs/initiatives, requests from HSE Commercial Lead, country management requests etc ​

  • Plan for and conduct trainings, coach and inform our leaders and their teams to create awareness and to drive a healthy and "zero accident/incident free culture"

  • Ensure local legislation and standards are well understood and compliant with both country specific legislation as well as company regulations.

  • Participate in investigations, follow up on identified non-conformances, facilitate closure of these and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysis.

  • Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow ups are implemented to minimize or eliminate accidents, that might cause harm to anyone at our company location or within field sales.

What you will bring:

A proactive approach and a desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Deep knowledge of Swedish work environment legislation and preferably in one more of the countries for which you will be working for.

  • A relevant university degree within HR, HSE or equivalent training and experience that the Mondelēz deems equivalent. Preferably also a certification within HSE (Nebosh or equivalent).

  • Several years of experience working with Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM) and HSE.

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish, English and preferably one more language, spoken in the countries you will be working for.

  • An ability to inspire and cooperate with others at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Maybe write in full eg "Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) in a more generic way. It is part of our standards however key to have/do.

  • Ensuring all First aid kit/Fire Extinguishers/Evac chairs/sprinkler system etc and other HSE related materials are frequently checked & updated/maintained according the frequency set

  • Make all Permits to Work for all suppliers, not only FM supplier suppliers but also Mondelez International ​

  • (Pro-)actively contribute to HSE programs/initiatives (local/MEU programs/initiatives, requests from HSE Commercial Lead, country management requests etc ​

  • Pro-actively drive the HSE improvement agenda for the office, the Field Force and their teams
