SUMMARY

Develop an efficient planning and control system designed to meet internal and external customer requirements of quality and on-time delivery within a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment, adhering to the Quality Management System (QMS), all applicable regulatory and company standards, and customer requirements. Responsible for procurement, short and long-term capacity planning, and sales forecasting, as well as maintaining the daily production schedule, monitoring new project progression, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Optimize the overall production strategy and planning to ensure revenue and profitability objectives are met, as well as the quality objectives of on-time delivery and customer lot acceptance.

Develop and update production capacity plans by reviewing customer orders, forecasts, engineering methods, and quoted standards.

Perform sourcing and procurement of all required materials and outside services in compliance with approved supplier lists and customer requirements.

Ensure delivery of required raw material, inspect and warehouse upon its arrival, and approve and attach appropriate certifications and documentation.

Manage the scheduling of all outside processes ensuring timely deliveries. Inspect incoming goods, validate supplier certifications, and distribute goods to the next operation.

Expedite project progression by facilitating collaboration among the team as well as determining obstacles or constraints and working toward solutions. Perform activities to prepare finished goods for shipment as needed, including cleaning, packing, and creating corresponding paperwork and certifications of compliance.

Maintain the integrity of the ERP system regarding the purchase and receipt of materials, the distribution and invoicing of finished goods, and the reconciliation of returns, ensuring the accuracy of the group's inventory.

Provide superior customer service as needed through timely responses, clear communications, and collaboration.

Support the quote process by estimating labor, material, outside services, and other related costs.

Recommend and manage the implementation of cost reduction, lean manufacturing, and inventory management initiatives.

Support the development of the company's fiscal year budget by estimating resources, material and outside services expenses, and other related costs according to the revenue forecast.

Understand and comply with company policies, safety guidelines, quality system procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or related discipline, and 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Required

Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.

  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
