Target Upper Marlboro Lead Business Partner: Local Sales & Disposition Strategy Effectiveness in Upper Marlboro, Maryland

Description:

As a Lead Business Partner: Local Sales & Disposition Strategy Effectiveness, you will be responsible for optimizing the resale of end-of-life (EOL) salvage product on Direct to Consumer (D2C) and Business to Business (B2B) selling channels. Leveraging data, analytics, and qualitative insights, you will identify and influence prioritization of opportunities to increase D2C and B2B revenue within the Upper Marlboro Return Center. Collaborating with Operations Directors, ICQA OM’s, and the HQ based Reverse & Recommerce team, you will provide insights and recommendations to support prioritized initiatives and monitor impact of changes. You will serve as a subject matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility and maintain collaborative relationships with those partners, including staying informed of strategies impacting the business.

About you:

  • Identify new selling channels, and corresponding vendor partners, to resell EOL salvage on the secondary market with a specific focus on local market selling strategies.

  • Ability to utilize available data to research, analyze and understand sales performance, outliers, and trends of D2C and B2B selling channels, and apply critical thought.

  • Act as an extension of the Reverse & Recommerce team within the URC to evaluate the effectiveness of sortation strategies, grading criteria, and channel allocation through a combination of quantitative data and qualitative inputs.

  • Provide insights to HQ, Operations, and ICQA teams into how our business rules are translating to sellable inventory that delivers go-to-market objectives and strategies.

  • Provide recommendations on how to improve sortation and grading strategies to increase recovery that may not be obvious through data and reporting. Partner closely with Operations and ICQA teams to implement any required operational changes.

  • Ability to develop and communicate insights and recommendations based on data, analytics and business knowledge. Collaborate with and influence both internal and external partners to achieve support to improve business performance.

  • Manage project plans within established timelines and ensure deliverables are met or issues escalated.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with HQ, field, and external vendor partners.

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

  • Comfort with data and proven analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence partners

  • Self-directed, resourceful and resilient

  • Comfort with ambiguity

  • Proficient in Windows based applications (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
