Description

This position will include teaching responsibilities at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including research methods, sections of the basic public speaking course each year, and contribute to the core courses, such as junior and senior seminar. This position will also be responsible for developing new courses, such as foci on non-profits, social justice, and diversity and inclusion. Occasional travel for professional conferences.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Requirements:

PhD in Communications or related field required by the time of starting the position. Six years of progressively responsible, post baccalaureate experience teaching in the field of organizational communications is required.

Additionally, the applicant must have the following:

  • Experience teaching quantitative and qualitative research methods;
  • Experience acting as a peer reviewer in the field of organizational communications; and
  • Minimum of four (4) conference presentations in the field of organizational communications
