The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who has either a background in claims handling, the construction industry and/or customer service.

Youll be handling a repair-based portfolio, so your main duties will be to set up and manage the repair progress on our in-house claims system, contacting engineers to book in repairs, record and update records as they are received and proactively manage the progression of repairs within agreed time frames. Experience with understanding schedules of work is an advantage. Youll already be experienced in diarising such activities and liaising with our customer, contractors and clients, collating information on each repair, ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely manner with exceptional levels of customer service.

Additionally, the role will involve both telephone and written interactions with a number of key stakeholders; involving regular checks of e-mails, diary and other relevant information, so its imperative youll be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise urgent requests or complaints if they arise.

About you:

You`ll have a passion for exceptional customer service, teamed with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask as well as:

  • Relative experience in working within a fast- paced environment, ideally with experience in working to deadlines

  • Contractor repair support experience will be a distinct advantage

  • Experience within claims or building industry

  • The ability to prioritise your workload and identify urgent tasks

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Methodical, organised and the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Accurate keyboard skills

  • Good general IT literacy
