K2 Engineering, Inc. Professional Land Surveyor in UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania

The successful job candidate will verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.  The Surveyor, will direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles; prepare, or supervise preparation of, all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys; prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed; and write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.  The Surveyor, working with a high degree of independence, will collect data as required in accordance with industry and client specifications, scopes of work, and work plans.  The Surveyor will have a survey technician(s) available to conduct all field work, including collecting initial field information, locating monuments and pinning property corners based on the Surveyors deed and CAD work.

Candidate should be able provide technical assistance to CAD operators, project managers and designers.  Ideally, candidate will be skilled with using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Topcon Magnet Software.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess 2 years of experience in the role of a Professional Land Surveyor.
