Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc Meals On Wheels Driver in UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania

The Meals on Wheels Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering meals to assigned homes in compliance with Area Agency on Aging policies and guidelines.  Drivers prepare and package meals for home delivery and drive scheduled routes ensuring food is delivered on time. This role follows all regulations for food safety and handling.  Drivers are also responsible for moving food from coolers and heating cabinets to delivery bags and assisting in the packing and sealing of senior meals.  Drivers also complete delivery reports and checklists and provide wellness checks for our Senior Clients.  The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about working with Seniors and has a clean driving.  Experience driving delivery routes is preferred as well as the ability to maneuver delivery vehicles (cars/vans) in a variety of locations (including parallel parking in city environments and maneuvering vehicles off road in rural areas.).
