DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Administrative Officer 1 is responsible for the overall administrative functions and business administration of both the Fayette CAO and the Greene CAO and serves as the manager for clerical functions in both offices. This includes the overall direct supervision of Clerical Supervisors and Clerical Assistant 3 staff.
Duties include directing clerical staff who are engaged in various functions including multiple processes, proper disposition of all monies, and negotiable items maintained within the office. This also includes the performance of office activities which are production and control oriented. In addition, you act as site administrator for the computer system and are responsible for the proper operation of all computer hardware and software for the Fayette CAO, Greene CAO, an area customer service center, and a statewide processing center.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs WORK CONDITIONS: Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
