Flushing Bank Sales Assistant in Uniondale, New York

General Statement of Duties:

Provide client service and sales support to Business Bankers. Prepare account opening documentation. Work on resolving compliance issues.

Supervision Received:

Reporting to Business Banking Team Leader

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Business Bankers in the on-boarding of new clients and maintenance of existing client relationships. Manage customer inquiries and service issues for Business Bankers Follow up on account and product documentation exceptions. Compile weekly and monthly management reports e.g. (pipeline, incentive, call activity, etc. Cross sell banking products when appropriate. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Perform additional accountabilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Prior bank experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Committed to providing a high standard of customer service to Business Banking clients Ability to multitask, embrace change and adapt to changing procedures Strong math and analytical skills Take ownership of problem resolution

Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000

Hours: 37.50

This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if hours worked are over 40 hours.

The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
