Job Summary:

You will provide outpatient therapeutic sessions to children and adolescents and their families to increase family stabilization, maintain accurate and timely records for each case, and assure departmental goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame by performing the job responsibilities personally.

What You Will Do:

  • Observe and maintains appropriate professional boundaries with clients, co-workers and supervisor.

  • Complete all required documentation/paperwork accurately and within established timeframes.

  • Knowledgeable of and practices the organization's health and safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to fire safety and emergency preparedness, infection control procedures and incident reporting.

  • Assess and evaluate clients at intake and/or admission, during ongoing treatment and/or service delivery, and at discharge and/or transfer.

  • Formulate psychosocial treatment plans, with relevant goals, behaviorally measurable objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement.

  • Provide services and supportive interventions, including case management, linkage to community resources, and provides inter-agency coordination of treatment.

  • Respond to clients for crisis intervention.

  • Transport Clients

What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree in social work or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university

  • NJ Professional License: Provisional or full (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW)

  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred.

  • 2 years' experience working with children and adolescent populations, including internships.

  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.
