Position Summary

A career in Records Management will provide the opportunity to maintain asset data of natural gas infrastructure and piping for field use. This typically includes examining documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data within the company’s asset management systems, performing analysis of data quality and resolving discrepancies with document originators. Additionally, this may include developing and maintaining procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, approval, production, distribution and amendment. Some project management opportunities may also be available.

Roles within Records are responsible for compliance, standards, training, reporting for regulatory requirements, operating procedures management, and rules and procedures that the organization as a whole, as well as all employees, must comply with. Records management teams are also responsible for housing all physical measurement copies that document pipes and infrastructure so that engineering and field operations departments can locate appropriate infrastructure when needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Performing assigned tasks (under close supervision) that support day-to-day activities within the specific Records Department.

  • Following appropriate methods and techniques in performing tasks.

  • Planning and organizing improvement projects with guidance.

  • Using established data, reports and previous results to identify inappropriate variances and concerns.

  • Reporting inconsistent results to supervisor.

  • Participating in group meetings.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Background:

  • Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience or

  • Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.

  • Degree in engineering, utility-related field, GIS, surveying, process management, industrial engineering, healthcare administration, or similar field

  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills:

  • Relevant work experience in a public or private utility, healthcare administration, or data management.

  • Knowledge of databases; Microsoft office Excel, Word, Oracle, Analytical ability, Maximo, PowerBI, GIS, Laserfiche, SQL

  • Ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a high volume, fast paced work environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must foster an inclusive work environment and value all aspects of diversity

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must promote a positive team environment

  • Demonstrate(d) commitment to being innovative, accountable, and reliable

Compensation Range:

$56,250 - 90,000

We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for all employees. The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience.
