Inspect street sweeper trucks for safety and mechanical defects. Diagnose, adjust and repair any type of diesel engine. Check fuel, fluid levels, air pressure and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating trucks and equipment for proper operation condition and safety; and perform any repairs when needed. Report the need for required maintenance. Train new employees in all required truck repair and maintenance tasks.
