Custom Truck One Source PART- TIME DELIVERY DRIVER- CDL NEEDED in Union Grove, Wisconsin

SUMMARY

Primary responsibility is to drive trucks and or parts, to pick up and deliver products to on/off site locations and vendors in a safe, professional & cost-effective manner to fulfill company needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs pre-trip inspections of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.

  • Capable of flexiblework days and hours throughout the week (Monday – Friday)

  • Ability to communicate with supervisor on off days to plan ahead.

  • Drives truck, equipment & parts safely to assigned locations.

  • Pick up/ deliver parts and equipment to and from customers and vendors, coordinating with manager to make runs efficient

  • Maintains contact with supervisor to receive instructions.

  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements andDOT regulations.

  • Completesnecessary paperwork for truck and parts deliveries.

  • Maintains professional appearance andrepresents the Company by professional demeanor, being courteous with all those coming into contact.

  • Reports accidents to managementimmediately, obtaining names, license numbers and other details.

  • Participates in all available training programs.

  • Must work with and for all departments in harmony.

  • Other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Minimum Class B license

  • Insurable under company insurance requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of two years driving experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must also possess the ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization.  Must speak, read, and understand English.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High skill level of driving trucks. Detail oriented and organized in work. Must have acceptable written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results. Must have initiative and the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. Must possess a strong desire to learn.
