We are experiencing rapid growth and seeking a Human Resources Manager to collaborate with our growing Production team. The role is based at our Union Grove, WI facility, one of our core production sites, and will support multiple locations, including Union Grove, WI; Alvarado, TX and Casa Grande, AZ. The focus of the role is to assess, coach and support the business as we scale and evolve in a diverse range of assignments including benefits, systems, training, performance management, employee relations, and other special projects. We aim to continue enabling our teams to accomplish amazing things.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role is unique in that you'll contribute to building better work processes for both your HR teammates and internal customers. You will provide a broad range of HR support to business/strategic goals and Human Resources initiatives, proactively partnering with managers to achieve organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and thoughtful leader with a collaborative leadership style. They must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to make quick, well-informed decisions while keeping the broader team connected around potential impacts that may arise. They will demonstrate curiosity about our business and have a proven track record of rapid self-learning. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees and administers various human resources plans, procedures and activities for all employees.

  • Collaborates with the broader Human Resources Team to deliver on benefits, compensation, talent management, performance & development, training and workforce planning strategies to address the current and future needs of the business.

  • Coaches and consults with management, providing Human Resources guidance when appropriate.

  • Supports employees in all phases of Workforce Planning, including on-boarding activities.

  • Identifies training needs and recommends training programs as needed.

  • Supports, investigates and appropriately applies Custom Truck policies and practices.

  • Serves as key employee relations expert and conducts thorough investigations when appropriate.

  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA.

  • Acts as a strong business partner to VP of Production

  • Partner with the Safety Team and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and direct the work of one HR Generalist

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/ Business preferred or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR Manager level role with a wide array of HR Generalist experience.

  • Knowledge and comfort utilizing various HRIS systems.

  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Must be very detail oriented.

  • Excellent project management skills and self-motivation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build collaborative relationships.

  • Customer/client orientation with a demonstrated ability to balance business partnering skills with employee advocacy.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
