Confidential Accounts Receivable/Billing Assistant in Union Gap, Washington

In this role, you will assist with Accounting and Billing duties. Experience with monthly billing and daily sales reconciliation is a plus. Our ideal candidate is someone with prior accounting/billing experience, but we are willing to provide some training if you are a good fit for the job. We expect all our employees to have a clean and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Preparing bills receivable, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Process Daily Reconciliation and End of Day Sales Summary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Schedule Tuesday -- Saturday - day shift

Qualifications:

  • Working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
