Blue Ribbon Pets Pet Care Technician in Ukiah, California

We celebrated our 30th anniversary October 2023. Join our award-winning team in providing professional, compassionate and loving care to beloved family pets. We offer grooming, boarding, day care and retail supplies for dogs, cats and pocket pets and take our mobile pet supply trailer to area events. Continuing education and dedicated pet care are hallmarks of our business. Team members are certified in pet first aid/cpr and Low Stress Handling. Other certifications and trainings are available throughout the year via online and/or in person trainings. This particular position requires at least two weekends a month as well as most holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. After training, most shifts will be 11:00 am (or 2:00pm) - 8:00 pm. We will train a promising candidate and will work around school schedules. This is NOT a summer or temporary position. A successful candidate is honest, reliable, compassionate, can follow written and oral directions, works well as a team but also independently, is diligent in their work and prioritizes work tasks, is comfortable around cats and dogs of all ages sizes and temperaments, wants to learn more about the proper care of pets and is physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position.
