What You Will Do:

DatixCloudIQ (DCIQ) enables healthcare organisations to understand adverse events and implement strategies to enhance the delivery of care.

The Data Analyst role is accountable for understanding, scoping, and delivering generic, as well as customer specific reports for customers through the DCIQ BI tool (Yellowfin).

This role is to drive the value that customers get from their data, while allowing them to deploy effective reporting and dashboarding across their organization. Data is key to unlocking the potential of DCIQ and as such these reporting improvements will lead to greater adoption, retention, and ultimately high level of customer satisfaction.

The Data Analyst will work closely with other teams when triaging reporting and dashboard specific customer queries or requesting guidance, to ensure the customer need is met and benefit realisation achieved through their partnership with RLDatix. There will be an emphasis on ensuring customer needs are met in a timely manner, while working collaboratively with other departments to ensure knowledge transfer. The Data Analyst will also assist in customer facing marketing activities such as Webinars and How to videos. This role will demonstrate strong product knowledge across multiple products, including Yellowfin and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope and understand customers specific reporting requirements

  • Develop custom reports and dashboards based on scoping exercises

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive list of customer reporting & dashboarding requirements

  • Build and maintain generic report and dashboard templates

  • Identify and understand customer outcomes required for both current and future needs

  • Work closely with Product teams to understand reporting initiatives and how they impact existing customers

  • Continually improve the service by supporting, creating, and deploying new processes around reporting

  • Coach team colleagues focusing on processes, product knowledge and troubleshooting of issues

  • Lead reporting/dashboard specific projects

  • Develop strong working relationships with customers

  • Assist support in reporting and dashboarding queries

  • Liaising with the CS Specialist or Product Manager regarding product features and changes expressed by the customer, helping to keep the company’s products at the forefront of the industry

  • Delivery of customer webinars and other customer facing meetings

  • Virtual meetings are preferable but there may be the need to visit clients directly at times along with attending company events onsite

  • Be industry aware of new mandated or non-mandatory changes

  • Support Regional User Groups and round table forums

  • Support with building of internal documentation

  • Continuously monitor data sources to identify and resolve data quality issues and implement data quality checks

  • Collaborate internally where required, to support the development and delivery of effective data extraction, integration and effective data analysis such as R&D, Marketing, Services and Q&A.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Proven experience deploying Yellowfin and Snowflake reporting packs

  • Experience building analytics dashboards and complex reports

  • Knowledge of database structures

  • Understanding of ETL and data pipelines

  • Proven experience in deploying BI best practices

  • Highly organised individual that’s driven to deliver results

  • Excellent organisational skills, adherence to deadlines, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once

  • Excellent problem-solving ability

  • Customer-centric orientation with the ability to build relationships via email, telephone and in person

Preferred

  • Ability to deliver presentations to small/large audiences confidently and effectively

  • Ability to function independently with a high degree of accuracy and accountability in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to supportively influence our team and customers to get the best from our service/products

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Confident at delivering information to all organisational levels internally/externally

  • Brilliant at building and maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
