Description and Requirements

About Organization :

Belong to GSC Digital Transformation department.

Overall, a Procurement Business Process Designer should have a strong background in procurement, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices and industry standards. The ability to effectively communicate and drive change within an organization is also essential for success in this role.

Roles and responsibilities :

  1. Responsible for procurement business process design and optimization

  2. Lead system solution design for procurement , include source to award, procurement to pay, product to source process

  3. Work with IT and biz team for system development, testing , move to production, and go live

  4. Lead procurement related projects or participate in E2E projects to establish and unified procurement platform, improve procurement area and enhance supply chain overall efficiency

1) Analyzing business requirements: Work closely with the procurement team and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand their procurement needs and requirements.

2) Designing SAP and other procurement solutions: Design, configure, and implement SAP procurement solutions, and other lenovo platform solutions, to meet the organization's requirements.

3) Testing and deployment: Conduct thorough testing of implemented procurement solutions to ensure they meet the desired objectives and work as intended. Coordinate the deployment of these solutions to the live environment.

4) Training and support: Provide training to end-users and other team members on the use and functionality of the procurement solutions. Offer ongoing support to address any issues, resolve problems, and optimize system performance.

5) Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the implemented procurement solutions, including process flows, functional specifications, configuration settings, and user guides.

6) Project management: Coordinate and manage SAP procurement projects, including planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and risk management.

7) Collaboration and communication: Work closely with other team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and achieve desired outcomes.

Must Have – essential :

Several years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably with exposure to process design, improvement, or optimization.

Technology proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other procurement systems is a plus.

Certification: Professional certifications, such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), can demonstrate expertise in procurement and supply chain management and may be preferred by some employers.
