Actalent Electrical Engineer in Tysons, Virginia
Job Description
Actalent is hiring an electrical engineer to handle the electrical design of large commercial buildings. Daily tasks will include preparing reports, cost estimation, specification development, performing calculations, and selecting equipment for specifications. This individual will also be responsible for preparing construction documents for bidding, performing site visits, managing project deadlines, and interacting with clients and architects.
Skills
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Ability to create MEP Electrical designs for building projects (lighting, power, short circuits, generator, single-line design, NEC codes, etc.)
Developing construction documents.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Tysons, Virginia and some days remote . It is a mostly design and project management heavy role but requires site visits for 10% of the time. Site visits may occur all over the US.
