Pathways to Community Cleaner in Twin cities Metro, Minnesota

Located throughout the Twin Cities Metro, Pathways to Community is a human services provider offering family and residential services to youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Success in this role comes through building meaningful long-term relationships with the Individuals we serve.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Deep cleaning areas of the program, such as behind appliances, inside cupboards, refrigerator, oven, windows, bathrooms, etc. May include some general cleaning of the program, such as floors, dusting, trash, etc.

  •  Cleaning of client’s home as a part of 245D Homemaker services.

  • ·Follow directions for the use of chemical cleaners.

  •  Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.

  • ·Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.

    Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or its equivalent.

  • Language proficiency in both written and spoken English.

  • Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks.

  •  Dependable and reliable.

  • ·Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well independently.

  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings.

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, stretch, and move intermittently during working hours.

  • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetic services that will enable these senses to function adequately.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. Must have own vehicle to use during working hours.

  • Possess and use a cell phone with internet access (i.e., smart phone) for work-related tasks.
