Job Description

We are a manufacturer of various military and defense products, ranging from filters to rocket control modules. Due to an increase in demand, we are expanding our manufacturing team. Ensuring high-quality products is of the utmost importance. We seek candidates with more years of experience who understand workplace demands, responsibilities, and have a more extensive skill set.

Mechanical Assembler M-F 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm, with potential overtime as needed, including weekends

Pay: $21-$23

Responsibilities: • Perform the assembly of intricate mechanical components and subassemblies. • Possess knowledge and proficiency in both hand and power tools (Screwdrivers, Wrenches, Drills, Rivet Guns). • Ensure the accuracy of parts and materials prior to and during assembly, focusing on continuous improvement. • Interpret blueprints and drawings to guide assembly processes effectively. • Document all assembly and inspection activities meticulously. • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to foster a secure working environment, actively engaging in safety training and promoting a culture of safety awareness. • Maintain precise records of assembly procedures and materials utilized. • Communicate effectively to provide updates and address any issues concerning assembly tasks. • Uphold the proper maintenance and care of assembly tools and equipment. • Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and uphold quality standards. • Must have excellent eye-hand coordination and good dexterity to assemble small parts. • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
