Summary: Rework and repair parts according to customer and internal requirements. Strong quality understanding and commitment. Recording of quality information at work station. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to policies, daily work place organization and housekeeping; health and safety commitment; personal cleanliness and appearance; attendance and punctuality plus 100% first time quality commitment. Complies with working instructions. Addresses problem situations quickly and notify supervisor or management immediately. Meets quality requirements. Other duties as assigned. Conduct duties in a safe manner, follow all safety procedures, report incidents immediately, wears proper PPE and conducts duties to their level of training. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and works directly with the staff in the Production department. EXPERIENCE: Welding experience (TIG/MIG/MAG) Must be organized and show initiative Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work well with others EDUCATION: Minimum High School Diploma Manufacturing experience, automotive background preferred Welding certificate preferred SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Physical, etc.): Must be able to work weekends and rotating shifts. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to be on feet for 8 hours or more
