Summary: Responsible for material movement in and out of the High bay and super market to the production area. In charge of booking of finished assemblies and CPD transactions for material consumption. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to policies, daily work place organization and housekeeping, health and safety commitment, personal cleanliness and appearance, attendance and punctuality plus 100% first time quality commitment. Controls material movement to and from the production area based on Production Schedule and material availability. Books material in CPD as produced and ensures proper labeling of material. Researches inventory discrepancies and reports. Performs Cycle Counts as needed. Stocks production area. Alert Production Planning of any insufficient Work Orders needed for booking Keeps work area organized and clean. Conduct duties in a safe manner, follow all safety procedures, report incidents immediately, wears proper PPE and conducts duties to their level of training. Other Duties as assigned. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager or Logistics Team Leader and works directly with other employees in the logistics department. This position has a communication relationship with all department managers and other employees in the Operations departments. EXPERIENCE: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Understanding of logistics and inventory processes Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to use computer for work related tasks Consistently at work and on-time EDUCATION: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 or more years' experience with Material Handling or a related position / field.
