TURNERS FALLS OPENINGS ON DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS Fenn/Swager (Machine Operator) Deerfield Packaging is looking to employ self-motivated, hardworking individuals to operate the Fenn swager machines. Job Characteristics Operate all swager cells including setup and operation of #4 and #5 Fenns Proper set up, operation and shut down of induction heating units Set up and operation of clip press, bend press and stamp press Inspect quality and dimensions of all tools Must be able to match tool to print provided on shop packs; position requires precise forging according to tool specifications Use calipers and measuring tapes to ensure precision Required Skills Carefully read diagrams and follow instructions within narrow margin of error Prioritize tasks quickly when needed Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Written and verbal English communication skills Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals Strict attention and adherence to safety guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment Adherence to attendance policy Required Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education/Experience 1+ years of related experience with packing machines/production machines
