Job Description

The role of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to protect, sustain and nurture the Elders by providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living and with other needs as required in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the company (Methodist Senior Services) to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be maintained at all times. This is for a 7am - 3pm shift

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

It is preferred that Certified Nursing Assistants have six (6) months experience working in a nursing home, hospital, home health agency or other health care facility. Must have high school diploma or GED and must have successfully completed an approved Nurse Aide training course and be certified in this state. This is for a 7am - 3pm shift

Minimum Qualifications

Must meet the minimum age requirements for a work permit in the state; must have verification that he/she is not listed on the "Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registry";
