This position is for Operations Specialist

 

Summary :The ACH Specialist possesses detailed knowledge of all aspects of Cadence Bank's ACH processing activities (systems, procedures, etc.). Provides assistance to customers, bank employees and the ACH Operations Manager.  

 

Responsibilities : Maximizing network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting issues, and outages, scheduling necessary network upgrades. Collaborating with network support specialists in a supporting role to resolve issues and optimize the network. Assist the communications manager with the design and implementation of new solutions. Participating in data network fault investigations in LAN and WAN environments using information from multiple sources. Assist with the documentation, development, and enforcement of area policies and procedures. Updating industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; including participation in professional organizations, industry webcasts, reading white papers and articles focused on current network trends, and attending classes, conferences, and/or seminars. Reporting real-time network health statistics and post-event debriefings. Configuration of routing and switching equipment. Configuration of hosted IP voice systems. Providing remote support when necessary to address and resolve issues. Liaising with system administrators, security administrators, end-users, third party service providers, and division teammates on a routine basis. Supporting Vendor Management Policy and Procedures. Cooperating with audit and examination processes. Performing other related duties as assigned. 

 

Requirements : Minimum 8 years of data communications experience in a Cisco environment - financial services experience preferred

Recognize the importance of customer focus and/or servicing the need of the end-user to meet the required demands of our products and services. Exhibit a focus on achieving results and reaching goals. Ability to communicate technical and network-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff. CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, or other equivalent certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bachelor's Degree in network administration, computer science, or information technology preferred
