Position Description:\
- 3-5 years actively working as a travel agentis required.
- Must have a certification recognized by the Travel Industry.
- Knowledge of the travel industry terminology and ablilityto research and prepare quotes for clients.
- Must be familiar with setting up an agency and/or working for an agency and how they differ.
- Experience teaching adults in an educational setting is preferred.
- The work schedule for this position requires flexibility to work at least one night per weekas scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall semesters.
\ Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Techs ACD program.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
