JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is seeking a human capital analyst to support HR's strategic vision, as well as the broader organization's objectives, through the deployment of trusted, accurate, and accessible HR data solutions. This role will provide commonly requested HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, and internal mobility statistics via interactive dashboards, shifting from point-in-time static reports to proactive data storytelling and data literacy support. An emphasis on developing collaborative and data-driven partnerships between HR and business leaders is desired.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Responsible for business intelligence functions:

  • Design, validate and publish enterprise-wide data solutions focusing on essential HR functions for use by both members of HR and leaders within the business, including but not limited to, core workforce metrics, talent acquisition, total rewards, and employee development

  • Establish extract, transform, and load processes for source data to be used in business intelligence dashboards both independently and through partnerships with data and technology teams

  • Visualize HR metrics through the use of well-designed and interactive dashboards deployed in a variety of tools, including PowerBI, TIBCO Spotfire, Microsoft Power Query and Power Pivot, and Prism Analytics

  • Inform long-term strategy for HR data delivery and automation, while ensuring secure access and data literacy of published metrics

  • Partner with specialized teams within HR to define and publish commonly requested data, as well as conduct ad-hoc exploratory analyses to support HR initiatives

  • Write and validate advanced reports in Workday for stakeholders across the organization

  • Automate routine report creation for the broader HR team through the use of tools such as Microsoft Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Automate

Identify and evaluate business data needs to support workforce management needs including attraction, selection, retention, development, succession planning, organizational design

  • Compile data from all existing formats (HCM, Excel, ERP, KBace, etc.)

  • Verify and Audit data

  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, business needs, etc.

  • Consult for business on data analysis to support workforce/HC management

Data Oversight and Management

  • Act as a consultative partner with HRIS and other stakeholders to maintain data quality in a variety of HR technology platforms

Responsible for reporting inclusive of:

  • AA Plans (compiling, report building, filing, analyzing, presenting, consulting)

  • VETS 4212 (compiling, report building, filing)

  • EEOC (compiling, report building, filing)

  • Gather data from disparate systems, integrate, compile, format, audit, analyze, submit

  • ESG Reporting and Analysis

  • Ad Hoc Reporting and Consulting

  • Workday Reporting

  • Ongoing HR Metrics Reporting (e.g. quarterly for Talent Management around D&I, Recruiting and Hiring)

  • Ongoing reporting for Board Meetings (D&I)

  • Standard Reports for the business (e.g. Assignment Report, Salary Planning Report) inclusive of data collection and integration, analysis and presentation/consultation for the business

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or a combination of related knowledge, skills, and abilities in human resource data analytics

Work Experience

  • 3 - 5 years related work experience in data analytics related to human resources compliance, ESG reporting and analysis, and data management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: HR Compliance reporting (AA, VETS, EEOC, etc.)

  • Knowledge of: ESG Reporting and Analysis

  • Knowledge of: BI Tools: PowerBI, TIBCO Spotfire, Microsoft Power Query and PowerPivot, and Prism Analytics

  • Knowledge of: HRIS Platforms: Workday preferred, but experience with pulling HR data from an HRIS platform required

  • Ability to: utilize advanced excel and ability to create calculated fields

  • Ability to: interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively

  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions; and conduct oral presentations

Licenses and Certifications

  • HR Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR preferred but not required
