TriMas Corporation Engine Assembly Supervisor in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Summary:

This position will supervise Engine & G-Drive Assembly, Production Assembly, and Paint functions. The position requires a dependable individual who is capable of leading others, organizing, managing, and coaching the department for improvement. Responsibilities include: enforcing safety rules and ensuring all employees work in safe manner; ensuring all quality procedures and standards are met, setting priorities and scheduling work through the area; assigning work to individuals; monitoring employee performance and taking corrective action when needed; tracking and approving attendance/time worked; maintain awareness of and expedite any impacts to the production schedule (material shortages, equipment failures, quality issues, etc.) and work with appropriate departments to rectify or adjust the production schedule; work with team to identify and implement process improvements, and achieve on-time completion of tasks with zero quality escapes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain adequate workforce to achieve build schedule

Maintain awareness of and expedite any shortages that affect build schedule

Ensure new employees receive all training necessary and existing employees are cross trained

Train and mentor department lead people

Fill in for absent mechanics when needed

Engines and electronics diagnostics

Other duties as assigned

Personal Protective Equipment:

Eye Protection consists of goggles, face shield or safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and ear protection

Work Environment:

Shop environment with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Overtime as needed.
