Actalent Civil Engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description:

Actalent is currently looking for a Civil Engineer in the Tulsa, OK area. Candidate will be responsible for the following:

Looking for a Civil Engineer with civil engineering experience (2 to 6 years) and leadership skills to perform civil site engineering assignments for Electric Substation and Transmission Line projects.

Qualified candidates shall possess knowledge of civil site engineering principles through education and/or demonstrated project experience related to site grading, storm water management, drainage design/analysis, roadway design, retaining walls, earthwork, erosion and sediment control, permitting, surveying, etc.

Knowledge and/or experience using AutoCAD and Civil3D software is desired.

Successful candidates will possess the proven ability to assess and recommend best case civil engineering solutions and collaborate with higher level non-civil engineers and other project stakeholders in solving civil engineering related challenges in consideration of safety, performance, cost, constructability, risk and liability.

Minimum Requirements:

2 to 4+ years of related engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering in a program accredited by ABET*;

Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.

*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Acceptable alternatives
