Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

CTTX Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an L&D nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to women during the childbirth process. Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients during the labor and delivery process.

  • Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

  • Administer medications and manage pain relief options.

  • Monitor and record vital signs of both mother and baby.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols.

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.

  • Provide postpartum care and breastfeeding support.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.

  • Current BLS and NRP certifications.

  • Strong knowledge of childbirth procedures and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
