Responsible for all organizational tasks pertaining to the transportation department as well as the training and oversight of Miraval’s Drivers and Bell Staff. The Transportation Coordinator will act as a liaison and maintain open and effective communication between the home department and all other departments and schedule Bell Staff and Drivers in the most efficient and productive manner to benefit guests and company interests.

This individual must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. The Transportation Coordinator must work well handling a high volume of calls and should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the hotel. The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and handling guest requests and concerns. They will be responsible for all organizational tasks pertaining to the transportation department. They will act as a liaison and maintain open and effective communication between the home department and all other departments as well as schedule Drivers in the most efficient and productive manner to benefit guests and company interests.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Excellent written and oral skills while delivering a luxury experience to all guests pre arrival, in-house and upon departure. Well defined technical skills with Microsoft Office with strong skill set in excel and in exporting data. Must be able to handle a high volume of calls, fulfill and follow up with guest requests and concerns, prioritize tasks, handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously as well as organize and delegate assignments. Strong decision making skills are essential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year of hospitality in front office operations or related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
