Description We are offering a position for a Sr. Accountant in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves responsibilities in the areas of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and other accounting tasks. The role is suitable for individuals who are proficient in using Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Handling balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances.

• Managing bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Overseeing the general ledger to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

• Preparing journal entries and monthly close procedures.

• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.

• Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.

• Providing guidance to other accountants or financial staff by sharing knowledge and best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in managing Month End Close

• Knowledge of NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Proven experience as a senior accountant

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to spot numerical errors

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
