Adecco US, Inc. LPN Needed - Arizona - 85730 in Tucson, Arizona

Calling All Desert Healers: LPN Extraordinaire Needed in Tucson!

Greetings, healthcare heroes of the Sonoran Desert! I'm Anthony, your career oasis finder from Adecco Healthcare, and I've got an opportunity hotter than a Tucson summer day!

Attention New Grads : We're rolling out the red (sand) carpet for you too! Flexibility is key in this role, much like a tumbleweed in the wind.

We're on a quest to find a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with veins of gold and a heart as big as the Arizona sky to join our client's elite plasma team in Tucson (zip code 85730, for those who navigate by saguaro cacti).

The Sizzling Details:

  • Pay: $28.00-$30.00/hour (because saving lives shouldn't mean living on prickly pear juice)

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts (1 week opening, 1 week mid, 1 week closing - variety is the spice of life in the desert!)

What You'll Need in Your Nursing Saddlebag:

  • An LPN license shinier than the copper atop the State Capitol

  • BLS certification (because knowing how to save lives is essential in this wild west of healthcare)

  • Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills are bonus points (but we won't ask you to wrangle rattlesnakes)

The Oasis of Benefits:

  • Health plans that'll make your own body green with envy

  • 401(K) with company match (for your future Tucson Gem Show shopping spree)

  • PTO galore (for those impromptu trips to the Grand Canyon)

  • Life, disability, and scholarship programs (because we believe in lifelong learning and thriving)

Your Mission Responsibilities in the Medical Frontier:

  • You will assess donor eligibility, encompassing the management of informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews, meeting acceptance criteria, performing physical examinations, conducting blood tests, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.

  • Be the cool cactus during donor reactions (no need for prickly situations) and evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Adhere to the relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including implementing the Center Physician's standing orders and coordinating donor transport to emergency care facilities.

  • Collaborate with the Center Physician like Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday (minus the showdowns) or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.

  • Champion Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs (be the superhero Tucson deserves) for employees when needed.

  • Become a keeper of frontier justince of incident management (picture less "ER drama" and more "problem-solving cowboy"). You'll handle employee incidents with finesse and decide if they need further evaluation by occupational health or the ER. Consult EHS guidance for all employee incident matters.

  • Potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator (because every team needs a trailblazer) when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as required by EHS or Medical Affairs.
