Job Information

KIHOMAC Business and Financial Operations Analyst (Contingent) in Tucson, Arizona

  • Provide guidance to program managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced

  • Initiate, monitor and maintain proper project setup in Unanet

  • Provide analysis for forward-looking financials and business-related projects

  • Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, and other related areas

  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management

  • Conduct budgeting and financial analysis tasks, including:

  • Developing project cost/schedule baselines and budgets

  • Monitoring project actuals and resolving issues

  • Monitoring outstanding project commitments (e.g., travel, subcontracts)

  • Developing monthly project financial forecasts/EACs and conducting variance analysis

  • Monitoring project burn rate against funding remaining

  • Analyzing project reports to identify and resolve issues

  • Documenting and supporting monthly program reviews

  • Calculate earned value and analysis for projects

  • Perform contracts and pricing tasks, including:

  • Reviewing and analyzing contract, subcontracts, and agreements to ensure project meets financial and reporting requirements

  • Providing assistance with pricing and historical data collection

  • Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required

  • Desired government contracting experience

  • Desired Cost and financial analysis experience

  • Desired experience with SQL or other relational databases

  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Creative in the ability to process improve and automate

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience with ERP systems

  • Hands-on experience assembling analytical tools for operations

  • Strong knowledge of Excel

  • Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area

  • Experience in Earned Value Management desired

  • Experience with Unanet desired

  • Knowledge in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint preferred

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Active Secret clearance required
