Salary Grade: 10\ \ Pay Range\ Hiring Range: \$23.92 - \$28.71 Per Hour\ Full Range: \$23.92 - \$33.49 Per Hour\ \ Salary offers are based on the candidate\'s equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. \ \ Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD) Inspectors deal with the inspection of new and/or repairs to Wastewater infrastructure such as; gravity sewer mains, sewer force mains, sewer pump stations, and odor control facilities.As an RWRD Inspector,your job will be to monitor and inspect sewer construction to ensure compliance with county specifications, as well as work with utility companies on the placement of utility and drainage pipes. This role is heavily responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and documenting all testing and start-up procedures, and compiling results and certifications. The Inspector will be coordinating and participating in vacuum, pressure, mandrel, and mirror testing for wastewater final inspections along with executing confined space/hot entry procedures and using safety equipment properly.\ \ A post-offer physical is required.\ \ The first review of applications will be on April 1, 2024, and thereafter if needed.
