We are actively seeking a Box Truck Drivers who will be responsible for driving a 26ft box truck making deliveries to customers on a given route. As a Driver will load and unload order on truck, pick-up and make deliveries to commercial and residential customers. Ensure this is done in a safe, courteous and efficient and timely manner while satisfying the customer.The Home Appliance Installer is responsible for the delivery and installation of gas and electric household appliances such as: washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwasher, ranges, wall ovens, microwave into new and existing residential homes, as well as some businesses. This position ensures the appliances are installed properly without damage to the product or the home that they are installed according to manufacturer's specifications, and are fully functioning upon departure.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BOTH DRIVER AND HELPER:The Furniture Delivery and Drivers are responsible for the delivery of furniture into residential home or commercial office:Delivery of furniture into customer homes.Load and unload truck by hand or by use of a hand truck or two-dolly.Verify the contents of inventory loads against paper manifest and delivery AppRead GPS maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.Deliver and stack merchandise on customer premises.Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephonesUnload and verify all returning product with the appropriate check- in personnel.Accurately count and deliver orders; keep account of merchandise at all timesQUALIFICATIONS:Must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportationMust have 2 year of previous experience driving box trucksMust have 2 year of furniture delivery/installation experienceMust be at least 21 years or olderMust be able to operate at two-wheel dolly experienceMust be able to lift up to 90 lbs. and climb in and out of truck throughout the dayPREFERRED QUALIFICATION:High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent (preferred)WORKING HOURS:Truck Driver and Driver Helper will meet at a mutually agreed upon time and location each weekday. You will have a 6 day workweek that can vary (Monday - Saturday) depending on the building needs. Hours vary but usually begin after 6:00 a.m. until complete.
