About the role This positions is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with their computer hardware or software. This includes a variety of operating systems, Microsoft products, unified communications, and mobile devices. The Analyst will coordinate with IT groups and cross-functional teams to fulfill support requests and project tasks, manage projects, and stay current with technology trends. Responsibilities Provide support expertise in operating system platforms: Microsoft Windows 10/11 and MacOS. Offer support expertise in Microsoft O365 products: Office 365, Project 365 and Visio 365. Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams clients (Windows/MacOS/Android/iOS), and Microsoft Teams Room systems. Support and troubleshoot 3rd party unified communications (Cisco Webex, Zoom, GoToMeeting) as needed. Resolve issues with all standard and non-standard desktop, laptop, and printer hardware/software. Address problems with all standard and non-standard Macintosh computer and printer hardware/software. Troubleshoot all standard and non-standard Mobile Devices hardware/software, including Microsoft Surface Pro, iPhone, iPad, Android Phones/Tablets, etc. Support all communication services, including GlobalProtect VPN, company Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots, etc. Coordinate with other IT groups and cross-functional teams to fulfill support requests and project tasks. Research, resolve, and respond to end-user issues/problems/questions received via email, telephone calls, escalations, or ticketing system. Provide remote support to corporate desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and printers including additional hardware/software requests. Stay informed on the latest technologies related to Microsoft/MacOS technologies and actively seek educational experiences. Manage time using Service Desk and project/task management system Monitor Veeam backups, perform file restores for end-users, and escalate any backup failure/replication issues to the Infrastructure Services team. Assist infrastructure teams remotely with tasks including racking/stacking/connecting preconfigured network & server equipment, troubleshooting network devices, and installing preconfigured network/server equipment with remote engineers. Qualifications Proven experience in desktop support or a related field. Strong knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft products, and unified communications. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and coordination skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a desktop support role or similar. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar will be advantageous.
