Martis Camp Banquet Bartender (Summer) in Truckee, California

The Banquet Bartender's first responsibility is to uphold the Martis Camp standard by ensuring quality service is delivered timely and professionally. The banquet bartender will confirm that member needs are met, that food and beverage orders are accurate, and that special food and beverage requests are accommodated when possible.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completing opening and closing duties timely and thoroughly

  • Provide service that is detailed, attentive and efficient

  • Checking accuracy and quality of beverage delivered

  • Sufficient knowledge of food menu and food allergies

  • Extended knowledge of bar menu, specialty cocktails, liquor, wines by the glass and beer

  • Using accurate liquor pours, cocktail techniques and glassware

  • Maintenance of alcohol stocking and security

  • Ability to multitask while working efficiently and in a fast-paced environment

  • Using proper serving techniques (example: serving open, marking, clearing).

  • Ability to fulfill banquet server roles when needed

  • Present on the floor during hours of food service

  • Maintain bar service while supporting the team, running food and drinks, clearing, and assisting where needed and when possible

  • Assist with greeting and assisting members and event attendees

  • Attention to detail: lights, thoroughness, cleanliness, safety, etc.

  • Provide warm hospitality, professional service and assistance to all patrons

  • Be informed of and promote all club activities and services

  • Keep member satisfaction in mind when making all decisions

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Martis Camp standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club

  • Comply at all times with Martis Camp standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Club operations

  • Perform other duties as required by your manager

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

  • Must be open to occasional overtime in peak periods

  • Must be California Food Handlers Safe Certified

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  (with or without accommodations)

     

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10  hours at a time

  • Must be able to carry up to 30lbs

  • Must be able to repeatedly reach/bend/kneel/pull/push to assist with product storage, cleaning duties and food and beverage maintenance

    WAGE RANGE: $17 - $19 per hour plus gratuities
