Responsibilities and Duties:

?  Set tooling parameters and establish 3-axis (X/Y/Z) work shifts from an absolute home position on the machine controller in conjunction with the CAD program.

?  Make basic edits or corrections to the CAD program, work shifts, or tool offsets on the machine controller to improve part quality or run time efficiency.

?  Ability to run multiple jobs concurrently and self-manage time so that machines are not sitting.

?  Inspect parts against drawings or a master article while overseeing machine functions using a variety of different measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gage pins, etc.)

?  Assist with developing and machining work holding for new jobs.

?  Check machine coolant and oil levels and replenish when necessary.

?  Keep the machines and workstations clean and tidy

?  Be neat, organized, and punctual.
